Bio
It's great to be a Murphy Panther!
In high school, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics. The experience really helped define my life. I absolutely fell in love that day, and I have never looked back. I attended the University of South Alabama, earning a BS in Special Education (MR/MH 0-21) in 1995. In 2007, I earned my M.Ed. in Collaborative Education at the University of South Alabama.
I currently serve as a special education teacher, department chair,LEA, Junior SGA class sponsor/prom sponsor, and JV Cheer Coach at Murphy High School. 2019-20 is my 25th year of teaching.
I have three children, two Murphy graduates and a middle schooler.
My work history includes: LeFlore High School 1995-2004; Murphy High School 2004 -2009; Williamson High School 2009-2013; Murphy High School 2013 to present.
